Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026. Written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 in mind; a lawyer confirms what applies.
1. What the intake collects
When you send the intake form, we collect what you type into it: who the person deciding is, the decision and its moment, what is uncertain for them, what they see or feel, your success metric, what you must not fake, your first guess, monthly users at that step, the due date, the library pages you saved, your company, name, role, work email, phone (optional), your disclosure preference, and whether you want one email on the due date.
2. Why we collect this data
Your answers are used only to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to run your Decision Review. We never sell founders' data.
3. Strict aggregate data handling
We receive aggregate numbers only. Never send your customers' personal data; no end-user personal data should leave your systems.
4. Storage and retention
Intake answers are stored in our database (Supabase), which only we can read; if it is not connected, they reach us as the email you send. Only the Founder Indus founder reads them; if you become a client, the evidence reviewer also sees your decision memo, under a written confidentiality agreement. If you choose the Anonymized or Private tier, public Registry entries carry no company or personal identifiers, and you approve the exact wording first.
How long (our proposed rule, to be confirmed by a lawyer): we delete an intake 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires for invoices and accounts, and no longer than we need them.
5. Your rights and data deletion
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies to this data. To ask us to delete your answers, email hello@founderindus.com.
Legal disclaimer: This policy is a working operational draft. A lawyer confirms it before launch.
